FOREST SCHOOL & OUR SECRET GARDEN
Learning that reaches beyond the classroom...
A den that needs another go. A plant that prompts a question. A woodland task that takes a team to work together.
Outdoor learning gives our pupils opportunities to put ideas into practice, explain their thinking and discover what happens when they try a different approach.
Our woodland-based forest school sessions at Slate Farm Wilderness include child-led exploration, den-building, fire-lighting, woodland crafts, nature journalling and practical curriculum-centred activities. Alongside our secret garden and outdoor classroom, these experiences help children connect their learning with the world around them.

OUR GROWTH MINDSET
At North Clifton we believe that most things can be achieved through hard work, practise and by not giving up when we find things a little tricky. Our children's Growth Mindsets are nurtured from the minute they walk through our gates for the first time right up until they leave through them for the last.
