The Reception children have been diving into the beloved story "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" during their English lessons. This has sparked their imaginations and has been carried over into our continuous provision, where the children have been using small world play objects to recreate scenes from the story. Pine cones have become a favorite, doubling as trees or obstacles to navigate around, adding a natural touch to their imaginative play. The children are fully immersed in the adventure, developing their language skills and creativity while retelling the story in their own way. It’s been a fantastic opportunity for hands-on learning and storytelling fun!
